NEW FEATURES
- Unspecified email addresses for maximum privacy when communicating with clients
Completely ‘hide’ email addresses of your staff and only show the names of your employees while communicating securely with external guest clients and partners. This new feature allows organizations to continue using their regular email programs such as MS Outlook, but preserve the privacy of the email addresses (SMTP email address) of their staff. When enabled, this feature requires external clients and partners to communicate with your employees exclusively through the web and mobile enabled Secure Message Center. It eliminates the risk of exposing email addresses to the public that could later be used maliciously, and prevents clients and partners from sending unsecure basic emails directly to your staff.
- Challenge Response Authentication (CRA)
The Challenge Response Authentication (CRA) enables an additional level of authentication and non-repudiation when new users register with the Secure Messaging Center. The CRA feature acts as a second factor authentication where new users are required to enter a Client ID, PIN, Account Number, Zip code, or any other code as required. Once registered, the CRA code must be entered and validated by the system prior to the new user having any access to secure messages or attachments. Once the CRA code is validated, a date stamp and IP address is recorded and is available through the Web Admin Console for audit purposes. The DLP whitelist feature allows exemption of specific domains or email addresses, especially useful for internal users to your organization. The CRA feature can be integrated through the API for automatic provisioning with any existing database within the organization, including LDAP. Alternatively, the CRA code can be entered manually by users of your organization when inviting new users to the system. This option requires no special integration and can be up and running with a single click through the Web Admin Console. The process entails having the sender manually enter the CRA code at the time of composing a secure message to new users. The CRA code can later be changed or edited if a mistake occurred during the invitation process.
- FileFreeze (PDF)
Automatically convert Word documents to PDF with the new FileFreeze (PDF) feature. Send documents securely from MS Outlook, web & mobile enabled Secure Message Center and automatically convert to PDF ‘on send’. Ensure no external party is tampering or editing your documents.
