IMPROVEMENTS

email2 Delivery Slip

  • Delivery Slip re-arranged to have ReplyFreeze, ForwardFreeze, Recall, and For Your Eyes Only (F.Y.E.O.) under the heading ‘Enhanced Security Options’ and Tracking and Tracking Shared under ‘Tracking Options’.
  • On viewing secure messages, ‘Enhanced Security Options’ and ‘Tracking Options’ in the Delivery Slip are collapsed by default, except when one of the options has been selected by sender, then it is always displayed, even if the section is collapsed.
  • Guest Members composing new messages are not able to set any ‘Enhanced Security Options’ or ‘Tracking Options’.

email2 Secure Webmail Client

  • Certification level indicator bubble added to the Webmail client next to the Private Email Network name.
  • Guest Members are now able to compose messages to Premium Members only.
  • When a Guest Member is composing or forwarding a message, they are only able to select Members from the Member Picker, restricted to Premium Members the user has communicated with before.
  • On the Registration page, the “Terms and Conditions” text label can be changed in the ‘Help Links’ section in the Membership Package settings of the Admin Console.
  • Updated Tools Menu displays custom ‘Help Links’ defined in the Membership Package settings.
  • The ‘Invite’ button functionality streamlined to direct Members to invite new Members by composing a secure message.
  • When a Guest Member replies to a secure message, they cannot edit the address fields, but can add or remove Premium Members using the Member Picker.
  • If a Member replies to a message, but then changes the recipient to a third party, the Tracking information displays it as a forward action.
  • Cursor in now highlighted on the ‘Email’ entry field on loading of the login page, instead of the ‘Password’ field.
  • The Member picker gets the list of recipients live from the server on load, so that if you’ve just communicated with a person for the first time, they show correctly.
  • Sped up loading time of the Secure Mailbox.
  • If a user is invited with Challenge Response Authentication feature turned on, and then the feature is turned off before they register with the Private Email Network, they can now register without having to enter the Challenge Response Authentication code, but the system keeps the code saved it in case the feature is turned back on again, or was turned off by accident.
  • For Guest type Membership Packages that have the Members tab turned on, and the “Contact Premium Members Only” option selected, the Compose button in Members tab checks that none of the selected members are Guest types. If they are, error box appears asking them to unselect the Guest Member.
  • Help link is removed from the login page if “Online Help” is unselected for the default Membership Package for the Private Email Network.
  • In the Secure Mailbox, if the Video Module is turned off for a Private Email Network, the Video icons are removed from the column and the column heading.
  • In the Members tab, First Name and Last Name fields added, and are fully sortable and searchable.
  • Drop-down Tools menu added to Internet Explorer 6 only, to improve legacy IE6 support.

email2 Secure Mobile/Lite Web Client

  • Native Forgot password functionality added.
  • Updated error messages now match the Webmail client for cases where a member enters the wrong password, or enters an address that has been invited but has not registered with the Private Email Network.
  • The buttons RE, RE ALL , FW have been updated to full text buttons Reply, Reply All, Forward.
  • Member picker available when composing secure messages.
  • Guest Members are now able to compose secure messages to Premium Members, restricted to Premium Members the user has communicated with before.
  • Keep me logged in functionality restored to log in Members automatically for 14 days.
  • On the Registration page, the “Terms and Conditions” text label can be changed in the ‘Help Links’ section in the Membership Package.
  • The “Privacy Policy” link and label can be customized.
  • When a Member clicks on a custom registration link and goes to the Mobile/Lite client, then clicks “Back to Login”, it now remembers that the member can register with the Private Email Network.
  • Guest Members composing new secure messages are not able to set any message options.
  • Ability to send attachments with devices that support attachments (e.g. Blackberry).
  • At the login screen, error messages are now displayed above the ‘Email Address’ field and are more visible to members on smaller screens.
  • After resetting your password ‘Remember me on this computer’ remains selected if it was selected before beginning the reset password process.
  • When a member clicks ‘Forgot Password?’, enter your email address and submit, and it takes the member back to the login screen, a message at the top of the login screen tells the member to go to your basic email inbox and open the reset password email to complete the reset password process.

email2 Toolbar for Microsoft Outlook

  • Guest Members are now able to compose secure messages to Premium Members, restricted to Premium Members the user has communicated with before.
  • Guest Members who compose a secure message to another Guest Member receive a message asking them to remove the Guest Member recipient before the secure message can be sent.
  • For the Default Activation, the Tools menu displays the ‘Help Links’ designated in the Membership Package settings for that account.
  • The ‘Invite’ button functionality streamlined to direct members to invite new members by composing a secure message.
  • ‘Check for Toolbar Updates’ has been removed from the Tools menu for the email2 Toolbar Enterprise Edition.
  • Assisted Activation functionality restored to facilitate activation in locked-down Exchange environments.
  • Improved handling of ‘Reply to Notification’ issue, where a message appears in the Delivery Slip informing a member that a user has replied to your notification message using basic email, instead of a Secure Message.
  • When a ‘Reply to Notification’ message is displayed in the Delivery Slip, added a button for the member to re-engage the conversation securely.
  • When re-establishing the secure conversation after getting a ‘Reply to Notification’ message, the link in the body of the original Notification Message is removed.
  • Improved handling of changes to Member Packages, providing a seamless experience when changes are made on the fly.

email2 PEN Admin Console

  • Guest Membership Packages have a new Compose Restriction “Contact Premium Members Only”, where guests can compose messages, but only to Premium Members that they have already communicated with on the Private Email Network.
  • For Guest Memberhip Packages, For Your Eyes Only (F.Y.E.O.) is disabled and cannot be turned on.
  • For Guest Membership Packages, Message Recall is disabled and cannot be turned on.
  • Number of messages allowed for Guest Member Packages can be set by an Administrator.
  • ‘Help Links’ section added to Membership Package settings, where an Administrator can customize the help labels and links in the Tools menu in the Webmail client and Toolbar.
  • Message Reports page added to the Server Administration section of the Admin Console.
  • Guest Packages that have ‘Contact Premium Members Only’ selected can also have ‘Forwarding’ enabled.
  • Changed the default label of ‘Mailbox’ tab to ‘Secure Mailbox’ for the Webmail & Mobile/Lite clients.
  • Under Member Account at the Dashboard, changed the Default Secure mode to ‘Based on Keywords/Algorithm’ for new users by default.
  • Admin Throttle Notification Email updated to support multiple recipients for throttle notifications.
  • When a member sends a message to an address that is an email2 Alias, the Secure Message Notification is sent to the Master account.
