Voice and Video Messaging

Sending and viewing a video with the email2 Toolbar is easy. When you are reading an email2 message with included video, you will see a section in the delivery slip labelled "Voice & Video Messages."

To access a voice or video message, you just have to press play. There are no downloads or special players required.

If you want to create a voice or video message, simply create a new email2 message and click Record. If you have a webcam or microphone, it will start recording and streaming the data straight to the Private Email Network. When you're done, you can press Stop. Once you click Send, the video message is sent alongside the email2 message that you just composed. Because video recording is streaming, there are no separate files to upload or download.

The email2 Voice and Video Messaging tool uses Adobe Flash 9. Many computers already have Flash installed -- it's the same plug-in that allows you to watch Youtube videos or listen to music on Myspace.
