This is the email2 Toolbar. It is your access point for all email2 actions within a standard email client (such as Outlook). Using the email2 Toolbar, you are able to send and retrieve email2 messages, view extended metadata, access the web client interface and configure user settings and accounts.
New email2 Message
This menu allows you to create a new email2 message. If you belong to more than one Private Email Network, you will be able to select which one you'd like to use on a per-message basis.
Web Client
If you need to access the email2 Web Client Interface, you can do so through this menu. Remember that each Private Email Network you belong to has a different Web Client Interface. If you belong to multiple Private Email Networks, you will be asked which one you would like to access the Web Client Interface for.
Tools
The Tools menu contains options for changing your preferences, updating your toolbar, and troubleshooting or bug tracking.
- Check for Updates: Connect to the email2 Certification Authority and determine whether or not there are updates available. If there are updates available, The email2 Toolbar will prompt you to download and install them.
- Preferences: Open the Preferences Menu, which contains a variety of settings that you can use to customize email2.
- Support options
- Report Error Logs: Used when the email2 Toolbar crashes or behaves otherwise unexpectedly. This will open up a dialog which can be used to describe the situation in which the error occured. Sending the report will also send your error logs to the Development Team for review.
