Retrieval is an incredibly simple process.
Using the email2 Toolbar, messages are automatically retrieved by default! Reading email2 messages is exactly the same as reading basic email messages. Simply select the email2 message from the message list to see it in the Reading Pane, or double-click the message to see it in a new window.
The email2 Delivery Slip pane will provide you with more information about the selected message.
If you've disabled auto-retrieve...
Some users disable auto-retrieve for extra security. If you do not allow automatic retrieval of messages, you must click the Retrieve Message button in the email2 Delivery Slip pane.
