The browser-based, AJAX built email2 Web Client is where email2 really shines. This is a completely customizable display interface for everything to do with email2. The email2 Web Client allows access to mailboxes, tracking results and other email2 specific data. In addition to being able to view this data, users are able to act upon email2 messages in the same way they would within their basic email client – this means that users are able to read, reply and forward email2 messages using the email2 Web Client.
The email2 Web Client contains many amazing features by default, but the most impressive is its ability to extend itself to accommodate any new features as they are developed. The entire email2 Web Client allows for the custom design and implementation of PEN-specific “modules”. These modules can be productivity tools geared to a specific industry vertical.
Also, any third party content can be plugged into the web client via XML calls, so there is actually no limit to the amount of customization possible with email2.
The email2 Web Client can also be used as an alternative to the email2 Toolbar for Outlook; all email2 actions can be performed from the email2 Web Client as well as an email client with the email2 toolbar installed. Messages can be created, read, replied to, forwarded and manipulated through the email2 Web Client . The email2 Web Client is specific to a Private email2 Network (PEN), effectively creating a branded personal, private mailbox for each of your users! Only email2 messages from that Private Email Network (PEN) can be acted upon, and you may only create messages using that PEN. Every PEN has a separate, branded web client interface.
