First things first...In order to install the email2 Toolbar for Outlook 2003 & 2007, you must already have been invited to join an email2 Private Email Network (PEN). Once you are registered, login the email2 Web Client for the specific Private Email Network that you're using. Note: It is strongly recommended that you restart your computer before proceeding with the installation of the email2 Toolbar for Outlook. In the email2 Web Client, click the button in the left hand column, Enable with Microsoft Outlook ![]() (The image above is an example, please click the button in your own web client) Installing the email2 ToolbarAfter clicking Enable with Microsoft Outlook, you will be presented with a page of simple instructions. Click 'Install the email2 Toolbar for Outlook 2003 & 2007'. You will be prompted to 'Save' or 'Run' the setup file. Click 'Run' to begin the installation process. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We are using Microsoft's "Click-Once" technology to ensure your safety and security during the installation process. Once the installation completes, you will get the following confirmation message: ![]() Note: Please wait until you see this confirmation message before launching Outlook again. The next step: Activating your email2 ToolbarIn the email2 Toolbar page of the email2 Web Client, you may remember the Activate toolbar with this Private Email Network button. Return to that page and click the button. This will send an email2 message to your email address, which you can use to activate the Toolbar. You can now open Outlook. When Outlook first loads, select the new email2 message you've received from your Private Email Network. (It may automatically be selected for you). You will see an activation screen, such as the one below: ![]() Depending on the PEN configuration, you may be asked to enter your name and choosing a new password for this PEN. If so, fill in the blanks, click Activate and you're ready to go! Note: If you are experiencing any issues with the email2 Toolbar installation, please contact your PEN Administrator as there are many scenarios that could prevent the toolbar from establishing a secure connection with your version of Outlook.
