Below, we'll take a closer look at some of the more important pieces of the email2 Web Client.

wci message details simpleThe message details allow the user to quickly and easily access the most common information associated with an email2 message. In addition to the standard "To" and "From" information, the email2 Web Client has the capability to display more - things like the message status within the email2 system, the message format, and any voice or video attachments.

Message Tracking information is also displayed here, in a "quick view" grid. Actions that have been taken are noted by a filled green square.

Clicking "Full" displays the Full Message Details, which includes extended information.

wci videoWith email2, you can send or receive voice and video messages. In the email2 Web Client, you can easily view these messages. The video player uses Adobe Flash, a standard web browser extension. No specialized external software, codecs or media players are required! The video is streamed directly from a secure email2 media server to your browser - you don't even need to download it!

WCI attachmentsAttachments can be accessed from the email2 Web Client as well. Information such as the email2 status and the MIME type can be viewed before downloading. The attachments are not downloaded to your computer automatically like basic email attachments. This prevents them from clogging up your inbox and your slowing your mail traffic. You receive attachments when you want them and how you want them.

WCI trackingTracking is one of the most valuable features offered by email2. Using the email2 Web Client, users are able to view specific tracking data for messages, including the date and time that an invitation was received, verification that the message itself was retrieved, that a user replied to an email, or that a user forwarded an email. The sender can even see who the recipients forwarded the original email to!

Best of all, all of these tracking results are guaranteed by the PEN providing them. With a truly secure PEN, the tracking results are fail safe.

email2 main toolbar
When you've selected a message in the email2 message list, you can perform actions with that message using this toolbar. Most of the buttons should be familiar to you: Compose, Reply, Reply All, Forward and Archive all behave the same way that they do with basic email. One button that you may be unfamiliar with is the Update Message button. Clicking Update Message requests another copy of the email2 message from the Private Email Network servers, making sure that the message has not been altered while it was stored locally.
