The email2 Web Client is a user interface for a very sophisticated secure email platform. Using the email2 Web Client may be as easy as using web-based email, but the principles behind an email2 Web Client are vastly different. All message transactions occur over HTTPS connections, which employ 128-bit SSL encryption. In addition, features like simple, attachment-free video messaging are not possible with web based implementations of basic email.
While email2 is able to operate wholly independently of existing email systems, it also has the novel feature of being entirely conjunctive. email2 can work with existing email to strengthen its inherent shortcomings. email2 does not require you to change your email address, email client, ISP or anything else; web based email solutions do.
