For end users, use of both the email2 Web Client application and the email2 Toolbar are free. There is a cost associated with setting up a Private Email Network (PEN), and certain PENs may charge a fee for access.
Users can access the email2 Web Client for a specific Private Email Network (PEN) using a standard web browser (IE 6+, Firefox 2.0+) without any special add-ons. If you'd like to use email2 with Microsoft Outlook, you can download and install the email2 Toolbar, a free add-on for Outlook.
For information regarding the cost of setting up your own Private Email Network, inquire with your local technology provider or ISP. For information about individual existing PENs and possible usage fees, contact the specific PEN Administrator.
